check out the game called beat hazard and use merzbow only for your game level music.
beat hazard is an asteroids type spaceship shooter game that changes based on the music and the length of the track and dynamics of the track change the whole gameplay significantly. merzbow is particularly well suited to the game due to the length of his tracks and in some cases the sense of development in a track which makes length gameplay extremely rewarding. for example, i just played to tamago's kangaroo tracks part 1 and by the time other noises come in, it is immensely satisfying to being playing while hearing it.
this game is said to induce seizures and so it seems that it is extra dangerous with merzbow music. i think the game increases brain muscle tone by stressing both hemispheres to the max using your left hand on asdw for movement and right hand mouse for shooting, thus making it that the right hemisphere is controlling movement and motion and the left hemisphere is controlling shooting, action.
playing the game with non-merzbow music makes no sense to me, the game should come hardwired to select merzbow tracks and albums. pretties for you makes a perfect short game to test you skills rising up the difficulty levels [increased seizure visuals and intensive game play to the music].
the game also has a neutral mode where you can use it just for a music player and visualizer doing its flashy visuals, which is cool. overall i find it can enhance a merzbow listening experience by providing an intensive visual element to it that goes beyond even a milkdrop winamp visualizer plug in. playing beat hazard to merzbow is like stepping into the sound and battling asteroids and other spaceships in the merzspace.
