I'm making a channel on Vimeo, where I'll add one Merzbow album every Monday. I have one video, and it's for Cloud Cock OO Grand. Next week I will post Rainbow Electronics. Here is the link to the video: vimeo.com/30325203And I wanted to know if you would ever go on it? Would I be wasting my time?

i think its a good idea. Its something i commented TrollH about.
In our modern times you have the product and then you buy it (as strange as it might seem) and hearing Merzbow music arround is what drove me to seeking music, improving wikipedia entries, and making a site to gather the merzheads.
Although Vimeo has a smaller base than Youtube which is where most people look for things like this.

Yeah, I don't use Vimeo at all. Still, I think it's a good idea. Go for it!

On YouTube you can only make videos 15 minutes. On Vimeo there's no limit.

Good point. Also, Vimeo is higher quality, isn't it?

Yeah. But all I put on the video is the album cover. So, it doesn't really matter.

well, even by my standards posting the whole album is too long.
Dividing the album and posting the tracks in youtube seems more apropriate and if the track doesnt fit then cut it into 2 parts.
At least i would do that

I actually kind of like the idea of sitting down for a whole Merzbow album on one video. You could run it in the background without concern for switching between tracks or parts of tracks.

On YouTube you can only make videos 15 minutes. On Vimeo there's no limit. If you're a director on YouTube there's no limit too. I think you do this by chaning your account type in settings somewhere, I did it for my account.

I'm adding Rainbow Electronics tonight. I just have a quick question. Would you just want studio albums? or EVERYTHING: albums, live, eps, remix, compilation, box sets.?

I think studio albums and box sets would be the best. I see them as the purest form of Merzbow.

i think everything that isnt a collaboration with someone.
Studio, ep, live, box set, etc.. of Merzbow only.
