New releases coming thick and fast. A 2CD 3RENSA remix album has been announced by Slowdown, the same label releasing upcoming album Kaoscitron. musicnative.net/slowdown/sdrsw17-v-a-3rensa-fb01/I've not heard of the artists taking part, but will be interesting to hear more interpretations of the album.

The previous 3RENSA album was very much ambient rather than noise. It was OK, but if this is more of the same I'm not sure if I will be hugely interested.

Slowdown records will be bringing us no less than three more of these 3RENSA remix albums in february. Again I'm not familiar with the artists, there are some soundcloud clips on their website. Has anyone got the first one?

Just been google translating the Slowdown records website and (I hope I have this right): 3RENSA: the original material by Merzbow/Duenn/Nyantora 3RENSA fb01: Six artists remixing 3RENSA 3RENSA fb02: Imaginary forces remixing fb01 3RENSA fb03: Four artists remixing fb01 3RENSA fb04: Dale Cornish remixing fb02
So in the end it becomes a remix of a remix of a remix... which is a pretty mad idea, but why not I suppose. The only input Merzbow has (as far as I can make out) is the original track from 3RENSA. The samples sound interesting, it ends up going down a glitchy techno kind of a route.
