It seems one of the earliest works by Merzbow is being reissued. Kibbutz was released on 1983 and now a label called Urashima is releasing a reissue in vinyl with only 199 copies of it. If you like the early work of Masami and Kiyoshi (at this time Merzbow was a band not a solo project ) you will definetly want to get this piece. The cost seems a bit high though but im not entirely sure of the conversion rate and also im a bit cheap myself . Its 17 euros in case you need to know. Here is the link to the official site: www.urashima.it/uma030.htmlAre you a fan of the old Merzbow??

Some of the old Merzbow is really good; Pornoise and Nil Vagina Tape Loops, for example, are a couple of my favorite Merzbow works. Many others definitely fall flat on my ears. They can sound a little flat in comparison to more recent Merzbow, both in terms of the equalization and quality, but also in terms of the overall composition. I do like the idea of having an old Merzbow album on tape though, there is a definite novelty to it.

At least is something but i think for this release to be even cooler, the vinyl would have to have red splotches all over it. ;D Also has anyone seen the main page of the label's site? it has the cover of another merzbow album in the back. Could it mean something?
