Ah, that familiar feeling - excitement at a new release, quickly followed by despair at discovering it's an expensive vinyl set!

Yeah, I share the same sentiment. Cant find any more info with regards to a price, but I'll no doubt be giving this one a miss too.

The label are selling it on their ebay webstore at 59 euro plus postage - so for me in the UK, that would work out at at total of 79 euro. I'm sure it's a great item, but not sure I can justify that price for 2 records. Clearly, I need a better paying job to keep up with these things!

65 euros (on Discogs) is way too expensive for a double LP.

You really gotta wonder about these prices... I guess these releases are considered artworks rather than just records to be played, hence the steep prices. I don’t like overpriced records though, no matter what the concept behind them is.

Curious about this release - is it completely different material to the Merzbow – Duo 10x CD box?

Yes, it is completely different material to the Duo 10xCD boxset. And I consider this one to be a good 2LP record to listen to, a good addition to the CD boxset.

Many thanks for your reply. I really enjoyed the boxed set so might go ahead and get this 2xLP as well.

I found a copy of a promo version online for a bit cheaper than the normal version which I am tempted buy. Has the same front cover just on normal sleeve not a box.
