yeah... seriously, Masami's discography is intense... and i am kinda curious what other fans go to pick for his works?
anyway tbh I don't have much exp for listening lvl of his work but I am going to gain exp lvl by listening his works from internet..
I have few of them in physical format so far I collect 3 albums!
so my go to pick for atm is "noisembryo"
and yours??

Noisembryo is an especially good one from the early 90s. It's hard to pick just one, my tastes change all the time and I'll dip into different things, with such an extensive discography its cool to pick out one at random and rediscover things. One album that will always stick out to me though is Kamadhenu because it's the album that got me hooked on his stuff. Until that point I haf heard a hanfdful of albums but hearing that one really got the ball rolling. The opening couple of minutes feels really carefully pieced together and is a lot nore synth heavy than a lot of his work.

I don't like imagining situations when I'd have to narrow down the list of albums/songs I listen from an artist or genre to a single a one, especially when it comes to such a prolific and versatile artist like Merzbow, because I'm drawn to some of his albums for completely different reasons than to others. If I really had to pick one, I'd probably say Merzzow, not only because it's one of my favorites, but also because it's probably the most multifaceted and colorful things he has ever created. I couldn't confidently say that I prefer that album over Pinkream, Flare Gun, Sha Mo 3000, etc., but on Merzzow every song has it's own distinctive character and that would make it a better album to limit my future exposure to Merzbow to.

With such an immense and varied discography and so many great releases, I find it impossible to pick only one.
